Salah Extends Regret to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has shared that Salah apologised to the group of players in the wake of the uproar from his televised remarks.
What Happened
Salah was left out from a European match after making accusations and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has refused to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
The midfielder also implied that a teammate fighting for a place is a positive trait. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
Their results have remained strong in the games following the initial controversy. The player is convinced the outburst were never meant to cause disruption.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a place of caring,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, performing and on a positive run.”
